Mickey Mouse's Birthday Party

Mickey Mouse's Birthday Party ist ein Lied von Charlie Tobias, Bob Rothberg und Joseph Meyer, welches 1936 von Irving Berlin, Inc. als Notenblatt herausgebracht wurde. Das Titelbild des sechsseitigen Notenblatts zeigt Micky, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, den bösen Wolf und die drei Schweinchen vor und auf einer riesigen Geburtstagstorte.

Das Lied wurde unter anderem von Bill Murray mit dem American Novelty Orchestra gesungen, dessen Fassung beim Musikverleger Conqueror auf Schellackplatte erschien. Die Murray-Fassung unterscheidet sich textlich etwas von der Notenblatt-Version und spielt im selben Stück auch die Melodien von Happy Birthday to You, Who's Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf und The World Owes Me a Living an.

Eine weitere musikalische Umsetzung von Wayne King wurde in den USA veröffentlicht und eine weitere von Ted Fio Rito, in Großbritannien wurde das Lied noch von Billy Cotton umgesetzt.

1954 erschien ein Album mit demselben Namen: Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse's Birthday Party umfasst mit einer Geburtstagsfeier von Micky mit vielen prominenten Disneyfiguren als Gästen ungefähr dieselbe Handlung, ist aber nicht identisch.
