The Party ist das Debütalbum der Popgruppe The Party das 1990 von Hollywood Records und Elektra Records produziert wurde. Hollywood Records veröffentlichte schließlich das Album am 31. August 1990. Die Band performte schließlich die Songs der Produzenten Stephen Bray, Jellybean Benitez, Andre Cymone und Deborah Gibson zusammen. Um das Album zu promoten wurde das Disney Channel Special The Party in Concert gedreht.

Das Album erreichte in den Billboards Top 200 Charts den 116. Platz. Die erste Singleauskopplung erreichte in den Billboard Top 100 den 72. Platz und in Hot Dance Club Songs Charts den 21. Platz. That's Why schaffte es auf Platz 55 der Billboard Top 100 Charts.
